Welcome! My (actual) name is Wolfe Repass, and I’m a nature photographer based in Denver, Colorado. I’ve been chasing wildlife and landscapes my whole life and photographing them on a dedicated basis for over a decade. I’m passionate about all things nature and believe that preserving the world's last great wild places, and the things that live within them, is one of our generation's greatest responsibilities.
My images have been featured by Backpacker Magazine, The Nature Conservancy, The Audubon Society, and Birds ‘n Blooms Magazine, among others. One of my images was a 2019 finalist in the Natural History Museum’s prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, and several of my images (Arctic Fox Kit, Mountain Goats, and Grizzly Fishing) were selected as Judge’s Favorites in The Nature Conservancy’s annual photo competitions. I’m a contributing photographer to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology / eBird.org, including species profile images for Red Junglefowl, Green-eared Barbet, and Yellow-headed Blackbird, as well as a contributing photographer and editor for Photographer’s Trail Notes, including the location profile for Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes National Park.
